Scobbers go to....

Side Walk Astronomy 1-2 May, 8-10PM
3rd Level Sky Park

Below: Yong the Evil Fungi aiming at the Moon... Which was the only sky object visible in such a bright sky at 7+PM.
Below: Now grinning cos he's found it in the scope!
Below: Andrew the Awesome asking why we want to take pictures of him! Below: Another telescope we have brought over, already aimed at the moon :)
Below: As the earth rotates, the moon keeps moving outside the crosshair, have to adjust the position of the telescope every now and then.
Below: Yong and Mr Albert Lim from TASOS!
Below: Valdric, our dedicated and knowledgeable volunteer! Talk to him! He has a very good sense of humour!
Below: The Ting, The Yong, The Awesome
Below: The Ting, The Yong, The Weird Gal with an evil glint in one eye. Oops, that's a very long name for myself...
We looked at the MOON, Saturn, Orion Nebula, Jewel Box, Sirius, among many other things! Side-walk Astronomy continues tonight, with us all waiting to explore the beautiful nightsky with the public! Besides us, there are many Astronomy enthusiasts and experts who have also set up high tech telescopes along the sky park. Prizes to be won, and souvenirs waiting for you to come and collect!
Do pop by and admire the beauty all around you, waiting to be discovered.
More pictures coming up from us Scobbers!
